Article in Magazine

Well how exciting one of my favourirte magazines 'Be Creative' has agreed (fingers x )to put in an article about the Chalk & cheese exhibition which we are doing next year called Parellell Pathways II based on our different religions. I'm really pleased and am so glad the other half of our partnership(Sandy) is good at writing and doing articles as I am hpoeless!
Its not until March next year but theres still a fair bit to do but we will be ready in time and so far we have secured three venues to exhibit in which is great. Ill post details of where and when its on next year.

pink waves

Well it's been  ages since my last post.  I have been busy making  though ..I've also been a bit ill I'm afraid  my  legs aren't working  properly and I keep wobbling over . Bit like  weeble.
My hands still ok though and I've just made this for a work shop   next year

Powertex workshop

I had a lovely weekend. On Saturday I introduced some ladies to the joy of Powertex which is a fabulous textile hardner, the ladies were very creative .
I did it at my local craft shop called Craft Arena in Billericay, Essex.
We had a fab day ....I had to leave my new puppy with Daddy though! Heidi was good though she needs entertaining sometimes!
She's very good at finding tiny items which are hidden in small places she's found some lovely buttons I'd forgot I had LOL
Here's the sample I made on Saturday which can be used on a book front. Also I made a couple of  small brooches as samples.

New puppy cavachon

good morning all, today I'd like to introduce you to my new companion called Heidi .shes a cavachon puppy and she's adorable. I couldn't be without a furry buddy and she fits the bill perfectly. She has such a lovely joyful personality . She's very cute my freind said she's way off the cute scale! She's already settling in well and following me and Miska the husky around the home and it's only been a few days.I am being firm with training though my freind Dee thinks I'm a very strict mommy! But now is the time to be strict if I want a polite doggy.

Sad day

Good morning , today I write about a sad thing first . I had to say goodbye to Snowy my faithful little doggy freind.We went last week and I said my goodbyes as he was ill and the vet said there was no cure just that we can make him comfortable. As much as I loved him I didn't want to be selfish and keep him here when he was so I'll.
Hardest thing I've done but a necessary kindness to my best friend.
RIP Snowy you were loved .

3d fabric art-Fatima hand

Good morning all. 

I've been asked to do a workshop on the way I use Power tex which is a fabric hardner which is fabulous stuff. I've made some lovely figures and also cover books with it as well.

I love the way I can manipulate the fabric to a particular shape.

I can't wait till I do the workshop I feel quite honoured that the way I use it is appreciated by others.

Here's a example of how I use it.this is a sneaky preview of some of the work I'm showing in my exhibition next year.
