my cavachon

This is Heidi my cavachon who is my buddy when I'm at home creating , I made her this crotchet jumper which she loves . She is a typical bichon personality , always happy and jolly and if things don't go right 10 mins with her soon perks me up.

I do have a few moe creations in my work table but Ill share once completed . as I may do a workshop on them if enough people are interested.

Heart mixed media

Well hello everyone ,,its been a while since I posted anything finished so I thought Id put a picture on here of my latest projects that I am going to do workshops on . I thought as it valentines day in February Id do a heart theme but not your typical heart these are a little bit less traditional.

Ive tried to do a variety  to show the versatility of the techniques I use so hopefully you like one of them!

I am considering writing a book where the project above will be in it so Ill let you know if I do one as I think it would be a great way to help others enjoy this type of mixed media.

New year

Well its a new year now and I have unfortunately had a health issue where I fell down stairs....I have injured my knee so I can only do sitting down jobs really which is a pain. I have been making a little jumper for Heidi my cavachon puppy which is keeping me busy.I will post a picture on here once done. I hope you have all been keeping creative in the new year?

This is another crewel work piece  I've  done.  Not sure what I will do with it though, so  any  ideas would be great.

I was playing around  in my desk and found the design  I'd done ages ago of this flower...and I thought it leant itself to crewel  work which I haven't done for ages. So here it is and as it's me I had to bling it up a bit with beads abd gold. It's my 2016 diary cover . Maybe it will help me be more organised next year!"

Article in Magazine

Well how exciting one of my favourirte magazines 'Be Creative' has agreed (fingers x )to put in an article about the Chalk & cheese exhibition which we are doing next year called Parellell Pathways II based on our different religions. I'm really pleased and am so glad the other half of our partnership(Sandy) is good at writing and doing articles as I am hpoeless!
Its not until March next year but theres still a fair bit to do but we will be ready in time and so far we have secured three venues to exhibit in which is great. Ill post details of where and when its on next year.

pink waves

Well it's been  ages since my last post.  I have been busy making  though ..I've also been a bit ill I'm afraid  my  legs aren't working  properly and I keep wobbling over . Bit like  weeble.
My hands still ok though and I've just made this for a work shop   next year
