Good Morning everyone,
it's the day job today but that's okay.........,I like my day jobs and I'm pretty good at it.
I do have a few projects onthe go and I'm excited what I can make with the dyed fabrics ive done.
My poor hubby spent yesterday with me looking for a peice of drainpipe to do the shibori ( I'll try to do a video to show. You how to do it onWednesday when im off) ,
Hubby is so patient....
Well have a lovely day I'm off to stroke my dyed fabrics!

Shibori fabrics
Good morning everyone,
I had a lovely day yesterday with a lady called Janice Gunner who showed us how to do shibori dying which is an old Japanese way of dying. It's still the way they dye some of their specialist fabrics today.
she does have a book out called " shibori" if you want to have a go , I thought it was easy to do.
Here's the outcome of my efforts,

Dye day workshop
Good morning all,
I'm off to a workshop today to learn shibori dying which is a type of dying fabric involving wrapping the fabrics and tying them to make some lovely patterns.
I shall put up a few pictures tomorrow once I've done some"
It's a lovely day here sunny and warm so I hope it stays like tis so I can enjoy the garden tommo.
Well I hope you all have a lovely day and get a chance to be creative .

Paddington bear
Good Morning everyone,
I've had a busy couple of days , I have made a baby quilt and a little teddy for my day job boss who's leaving. They're for his kids obviously LOL I don't think he'd like a pink teddy!
I'm busy finishing off my competion peice back as it needs to be neat and able to hang.doubt Ill win as they're is alot of talented people in my embroidery guild.But as chair I don't want to win they may think its fixed!

Hospital today
good Morning everyone.
I am a sleepyheads today and its a warm day agian , I'm off the day job as I have a appointment at the hospital later for some routine tests.
Won't have much time to sew though ........although am hoping I can enjoy the sunshine a bit.

Sample bracelets
Good morning everyone , I managed to complete two more bracelets which are actually referred to as sample bracelets as they have several types of beading techniques in them . Rather handy way of having samples to hand I thought.

Bead bracelet & snowy
Good morning everyone,
At last Ive finished the bracelet I started earlier in week,
I got the lovely beads from the discount bead shop in Vegas, the lovely lady gave me the pattern too I found it was quite an easy pattern for a starter.
I had to show Snowy as well he is so happy were back he hasn't left my side .......he is so spoilt!
Also just to let you all know I'm gutted that England's out of World Cup.......but we didn't play well really...there's always the Euro cup !
Anyway have a nice day I'm off to the Embroidery guild today to see a wonderful speaker Janette Bright.
