Here's the outcome of the shibori playing I did yesterday. Once washed and ironed they look rather good.
I'm so pleased with them already got ideas how to use them!

Dye day off
Good morning,
I am having a play day today I am supposed to be making a birthday cake for hubby as well....
Ill do that later, I'm having far too much fun!
I've been doing some shibori preparation and am nearly ready to dye it. I tried to video it but I could work it out so ill have to get hubby to be camera man next time......
Here's a photo of the wrapped ,scrunched fabrics before dyeing ill show you the finished article tomorrow hopefully as I need to dye them now. What to do with all this lovely fabric........!

Monday morning
Good Morning everyone,
it's the day job today but that's okay.........,I like my day jobs and I'm pretty good at it.
I do have a few projects onthe go and I'm excited what I can make with the dyed fabrics ive done.
My poor hubby spent yesterday with me looking for a peice of drainpipe to do the shibori ( I'll try to do a video to show. You how to do it onWednesday when im off) ,
Hubby is so patient....
Well have a lovely day I'm off to stroke my dyed fabrics!

Shibori fabrics
Good morning everyone,
I had a lovely day yesterday with a lady called Janice Gunner who showed us how to do shibori dying which is an old Japanese way of dying. It's still the way they dye some of their specialist fabrics today.
she does have a book out called " shibori" if you want to have a go , I thought it was easy to do.

Dye day workshop
Good morning all,
I'm off to a workshop today to learn shibori dying which is a type of dying fabric involving wrapping the fabrics and tying them to make some lovely patterns.
I shall put up a few pictures tomorrow once I've done some"
It's a lovely day here sunny and warm so I hope it stays like tis so I can enjoy the garden tommo.
Well I hope you all have a lovely day and get a chance to be creative .

Paddington bear
Good Morning everyone,
I've had a busy couple of days , I have made a baby quilt and a little teddy for my day job boss who's leaving. They're for his kids obviously LOL I don't think he'd like a pink teddy!
I'm busy finishing off my competion peice back as it needs to be neat and able to hang.doubt Ill win as they're is alot of talented people in my embroidery guild.But as chair I don't want to win they may think its fixed!

Hospital today
good Morning everyone.
I am a sleepyheads today and its a warm day agian , I'm off the day job as I have a appointment at the hospital later for some routine tests.
Won't have much time to sew though ........although am hoping I can enjoy the sunshine a bit.
