Holidays!

Well guys the time has come for my holiday to Vegas ! I've been busy today making some fun jewellery to take with me as I like to wear matching sets when I'm away so it matches my outfit. I think when one can make jewellery why not make enough that it matches my outfits!

I am making this short today as. I overslept! And have to be ready for day job soon.
I was up late making beads!
So addicted to it , must be bad for my health. Need to get ready for hols too.

A week to go ,!

good morning all , I'm so excited !!!

Only 5 days till my hols to Vegas! Can't wait we love it there and there's a lot of beads shops I visit, Sweet beads is one I always look forward to as she has some lovely unusual beads.
However got 3 days at the day job to concentrate on which will be busy I expect.

I am also debating whether to get a kiln to do my jewellery in although a big outlay I think ill use it a lot and should be able to recoup the money spent back in a few months.
I will be selling some jewellry and maybe some loose beads on test when I return from hols.

Just wrote my to do list for today and it's long! Going on hols to Vegas next week and need to pack plus got some orders to post and to make as well for my jewellery!
Busy busy but just needed to share my latest lot of beads I'm afraid to say I'm keeping a couple of these as I love the blue with purple spots. So me ,....a bit quirky!

Lampwork earrings

Hi everyone,
I've been very busy lately I'm afraid ...I've been making beads! Did you think busy with work or the house ? Oh no not at all! I mean busy playing LOL
I've managed to make up a couple of sets of earrings from the first sets of beads I made. I will be putting on Etsy next week after girls at work have seen them as they also are interested to buy stuff.
I have other thing s like pendants as I have done them but need to put on a cord or a chain.

Good morning all,
I was off yesterday and contrary  to what I should have done( tidy house) I played on my lampwork all day!  Well most of it anyway! I'm going on hols soon and I want to give a special bead to the lady at Sweet Beads in Vegas as she's so lovely and helpful.
I am getting much better at making the beads and will be able to make up some of these into sets to sell once they are annealed.
I think I'll try Etsy to see if I can sell on there as it's for handmade stuff.
I'll be doing it under my trade name - Laouami
I'll let you all know once they are on there.

Lamp work studio

Hi everyone, I thought I'd share the piccy of my workstation I use for the lamp work beads so you can see that I actually do make them! It's quite tidy at the moement as I tidied it last night!
I'm awaiting my beads back from the company who annuals them ( this makes them stronger and so last longer) can't wait for them to come back do I can get some jewellry made!
Am at day job today but off tomorrow so I'll be playing tommo!
